The Schwarz Group uses an e-mobility solution that seamlessly networks all processes. A standardised selection of charging stations (AC, DC, HPC) from different manufacturers enables a multi-vendor strategy. By July 2024, 4,100 charging stations had been integrated via a central platform. The e-mobility feature has been integrated into the Lidl Plus and Kaufland loyalty apps. Customers can manage charging processes, pay via the app and use other loyalty programme functions via an interface from partner SCRM. By July 2024, 1.8 million charging processes had been carried out via the apps and 24 million kWh of energy had been charged.
