EDEKA Clausen in Hamburg is optimising its store processes with the digital Captana solution. In the 1,550 square metre store, 134 cameras automatically detect stock shortages and prioritise tasks, which are displayed digitally on handheld devices. Employees are relieved of routine tasks and can concentrate on value-adding activities. Real-time data and proactive checklists ensure an effective and sustainable increase in shelf availability, reduce empty shelves and increase customer satisfaction and sales. The combination of IoT, computer vision and AI is transforming retail sustainably and increasing competitiveness.
