As part of Schwarz Digits, Schwarz IT is equipping employees in Lidl shops with headsets to improve communication between employees. Employees use the headsets to contact the digital voice assistant Lidl Instore Voice Assistant (LIVA). Using voice commands, employees are able to quickly call up information such as item data or stock levels and execute commands such as opening or closing tills. The digital assistant is based on a bot on Cognigy, which provides the relevant information and executes actions via various interfaces. This significantly reduces travelling times in the shops.
